50 cent in da house!
Finally I saw the man! Almost 1 1/2 hour show…starring 50cent, Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo! It was quite cheap (for Serbian standards), 600 Rs (or 11 eur), but the thing that really surprised me is not so many people on the concert (about 2000 the most). Luckily, crowd was crazy, so it compensated the size
Here are few of my impressions about the event:
Low visit - I couldn’t believe that so low number of people came (less than 2000 I think). We got cheap tickets, so we were divided with the fence from the fronts rows. That fence was 15 meter at least away from the last person in the front row (in front of the stage). Luckily, they let us in the area 30 minutes after concert started, and my friends and I ended something like 15 meters from the stage, and partee started
The concert itself was great! Performance at the highest level. I mean, didn’t had a chance to listen to him live, but what I saw was great. Good communication with the audience (he gave most of his cloth to the crowd, unfortunately, bling bling didn’t ended into hands of some lucky visitor
). I was afraid that it will last one hour (as it was in Belgrade), but he did it longer, more than 1 h 30 mins of excellent music! Unfortunately I didn’t had any camera to picture the crowd and transfer you some of the atmosphere, but I have some videos from my mobile, low resolution, but at least you can have some overview
One cultural difference from Serbia is - no beer to buy on the concert! I might say I’m kind a adapting to this :-). This is a country where for 40 Rs. you can have a nice meal, or get a small can of beer! Quite opposite than back home, where food is always quite expensive in comparison to beer (my loving 2litres Apatinsko beer bottle costing 80 Rs in Belgrade, and here for that money I can get 0.650l of Kingfisher!).
Either way, I had the greatest time on the concert, and had the chance to get to know more friends from TCS - Alina (Romania), Gabi (Hungary) and Nihan (Turkey). If 50 is in your town, don’t miss it
