Serbian starts living in India

It passed almost 5 days since I arrived in India. I must admit I’m  getting sligtly nostalgic. For the past three days I’m returning home from work with the feeling of being home in Belgrade, driving with 56 bus from the city, and then you look around, see people around you and realize that you are far far away from home.

Key learning point I got these days is not trying to compare anything with Belgrade or Serbia, but to accept things as they are. This is the most important thing any foreigner needs to know when starting a life in country so far from home. You simply realise the fact that is easier to change yourself and adjust, be open minded, learn about and respect other culture, than to try changing it.

To be honest, I even surprised myself with the speed of my adjustment. I figure it comes from the personal attitude and mindset I have (and explained before). We will see what brings tommorow, until then, enjoy in life ;-)
