Entrepreneurship

One of the first things I noticed here is “creative” sense for entrepreneurship. People find very creative ways of self employment, so you can have someone who will come to your place and pick up all trash and take it to the junk yard, someone who will be your learning manager (person that does all research for your exam, and gives you digested version), you can even have someone who will for 1 Rs clean your ears!!

This country is full of such an examples, and it is common thing that rich families have servant team of at lest 6 employees (driver, nanny, cook, cleaner, butler, etc). Even trainees here have servant that cleans their apartment, wash cloth, etc.

Today in the Hindustan Times I read article about this type of business. You have “personal assistantship” services, all you ever wanted to outsource in your life, just pay, and don’t worry!
You need bedtime storyteller, you need personal reminder, someone to pick some gifts or packages, learning assistant? It’s never been easier! Prices vary, from 160 hours plan (1,120 $) to 10 hour plan (95 $). If you have money in India, you can outsource every aspect of your life.

Crazy…for typical Serbian view of the world.

But what we can learn from this is more important - the mindset of being a “fighter”! People are not waiting for something to fall from the sky, but instead looking for opportunities to earn for a living. Nothing comes for free, so you need to fight your way throughout the life!
