Cultural presentation of Serbia to MATC

Today Juliana (Colombia) and me had a chance to present our cultures. Having in mind last time I did it, during ACE conferece, totally random, and freestyle, I knew there is a need for more serious preparation in order to get people interested in Serbia.

MATC Team

Came at 22h home, the day before, and the work started! Wikipedia, various Serbian sites, LC FON presentation of Belgrade (thanx Lidija :-)), until 2 after midnight I had my presentation shining!

It lasted for 30 minutes, of course lots of questions about war. What I experienced here is that everyone think we are next to Russia. When I say I’m from Serbia, typical reply would be “that’s next to Russia?”. Or they will ask, are you from London? USA?

I magaed to present good picture of my country, colleagues liked it, so I can say it was a “center shoot”
