60 years of youth development

Today I got a link through one of our old AIESEC mailing lists. It was about coming 60th anniversary events, and it had only one link, a youtube video. I was 6 years in AIESEC, and been strongly connected with the organization, and especially people in it. Imagine typical international meeting…at least 30 or my friends, all over the world - Australia, India, Gana, Greece, Bulgaria, Spain, Norway, Croatia, Italy, UK, Colombia, Brazil…thats a special feeling. Even dough I was meeting them once, maybe twice per year (if we went for the same conferences), we stayed in touch (internet is a miracle :-)).

Every one of them shaped my personality, by their different view of the world and forces that shape it, or by teaching me something new. I remeber my frist days in AIESEC…rewinding “move” till now. 6 years, 6 great years. Lots of fun, extreme work, stress, friends, loving moments, fights, successes, results, failures, travels…simply - lots of AIESEC.

60th anniversary events are coming, Tokyo, Budapest, Brussels, Sao Paolo…where all generations meet. I hope to be present on Sao Paolo event, as it is connected to International Congress 2008, and TCS will be present. If not…I’ll need to make some other event and meet old friends ;-).
